Changing your Cleo password through Windows
If you have a Windows PC, this is preferred method of changing your password. This process will ensure that your new password is immediately synced across your local PC, the Cleo LAN domain controller, and all your applications available on your OneLogin portal.
1: Make sure you are connected to the Cleo VPN (cleovpn1.cleo.com)
2: On your keyboard, press CTRL + ALT + DEL keys at the same time.
3: Choose Change Password
- Enter your Old Password - This is your current password which you used to connect to the Cleo VPN
- Enter your New password - Password must be at least 8 characters long, contain letters, and digits.
- Confirm your new password and click the Arrow button.
This process will set a new password on your computer, and because you are connected to the VPN, the new password will be synced with the network domain controller, and will automatically be synced to OneLogin.
Note: You will need to update any external applications, such as your email client on your cell phone.
Changing your Cleo password through OneLogin
If you are using a Windows PC, it is recommended to be connected to the Cleo VPN (cleovpn1.cleo.com) in order for the password change to fully sync to your local computer.
- Log into your OneLogin portal
- Click your name in the upper right hand corner and choose Profile
- Select Change Password
- Enter your Old Password - This is your current password
- Enter your New password - Password must be at least 8 characters long, contain letters, and digits.
- Confirm your new password and click Save
- To sync your new password with your local computer
- If you have a Windows PC
note: you should be connected to the Cleo VPN (cleovpn1.cleo.com) for the step- On your keyboard, press CTRL + ALT + DEL keys at the same time.
- Select Lock
- Unlock using your new password set in the previous step.
- If you have a Mac
- On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Users & Groups
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password in the Old Password field
- Enter your new password in the New Password field, then enter it again in the Verify field
- Enter a hint to help you remember the password
- Click Change Password
- If you have a Windows PC
After this is completed successfully, you can then use your new password when logging into your computer, as well as Onelogin and the rest of your applications found on your Onelogin dashboard.

Your Cleo account keeps getting locked after changing your password:
The most common cause of this is that your new password has not fully synchronized. Ensure that you have updated your external applications which you have entered a password, such as the email client on your Cell phone or tablet. This will need to be manually updated. Your account may continue to be locked periodically until you have updated your password in all of the apps where you have manually entered your Cleo password.
