- The sanction check will run on the creation or update of an opportunity if the account has not had a screening done in the past 3 months.
- If the field, Sanctions Policy Screening, is set to "Cleared," the opportunity process may continue as normal. If it is set to "Flagged," then there is a possibility that the account may be sanctioned and a more thorough check must be done.
- When an account is marked "Flagged," an email will notify the CFO and the account manager with details. It is the CFO's responsibility to provide permission to override the flagged status if necessary.
- If a flagged status has been determined incorrect, to override the status, check the checkbox field, Sanctioned Flag Override (if given permission), and add a note to the Sanction Status Note field explaining why the status was overridden.
- Checking the override box will populate the Sanctioned Flag Override Details field with the date and the email of the user who checked the box.
- Outside of the opportunity triggered update, the sanctions check will run annually on all Salesforce accounts with active products that have not been cleared for sanctions within the past 3 months.
All fields related to sanctions are located underneath credibility on the account, as well as the opportunity, as seen below:
